Molly Schaeffer has the perfect job, great apartment and lots of money. The only problem is that she has no love life. A few years ago she made a decision to never let love in her life, one that has hardened her love from any love. She left Jason Elliott, her high school sweetheart because they wanted different things in life. To her, his dream of a life together sounded boring and scared her out of committing with him. However, being back to help her sister care for her niece has made Molly realize what has been missing in her life, family and love. The one thing she ran away from is now creeping into her heart wishing for the impossible. It is so hard to ignore Jason, the neighbor, when he’s so close by still in love with her.
Jason Elliott has never forgotten about Molly Schaeffer. To him she will always be his woman and though six years have past the love is still there along with the sexual attraction. Being with Molly now has made him realize that he still wants her and this time will not let anything get in the way, even her fear of commitment. She says that she doesn’t love him but sometimes the past can be good to remember between them. Can Jason make Molly see they still belong to one another?
Magic is in the air and its one little girl that will bring two people back together. Molly and Jason so need one another but their stubborn hearts are between them. They learn that it is their hearts that can find their way back to one another again.
Almost a Family is definitely recommended, for Donna Alward did a beautiful job in bringing two lovers back to one another with a bit of magic in a 4 year old little girl. I loved that Jason and Molly still loved each other but they are stubborn till the end. The sexual attraction is one that will make you want ice to cool down but these two have something that lovers should always have: friendship. This is one of those stories that make you believe that second chances are possible especially when you still have love in your heart.

Ty Synclair, bassist for the smash Brit band Shadowsforge, is eager to escape the shallow life of groupies and money-hungry women. On a drive to clear his head after a performance, another car smashes into his on a snowy hillside. He saves the driver, a beautiful young woman. Trapped in a remote cabin for a long weekend, they both begin to discover things about each other. Will these things bring them together or drive them apart?
I loved this story from the first page (even though I had this creepy mental image of Dominic Monaghan from LOST and The Lord of the Rings as Ty, wearing a horrifying mullet wig). Usually I stay away from sweet contemporary romance, but this story sucked me in right from the start. I empathized with both the hero and the heroine. I cheered for them and booed the bad guy. I sighed over Ty’s romantic antics. Alexis’s character is standard for contemporary romance, but Ty sort of forced her into unpredictable actions and emotions.
The writing was tight and strong. Perfectly paced, with a lovely sweet lilt to the prose. I’m more than interested in reading and reviewing more by Ms. Galifany.
There was quite a bit of back story towards the end of the story. It was distracting, and while it didn’t take anything away from the story, I felt it didn’t really add anything. All the history given could have been done so through dialogue or much shorter snippets throughout the story- if at all. It honestly wasn’t necessary to the story- we already love Ty by that point in the story, and his relationship with his ex-wife didn’t really matter by then in the story.
Shadowsforge 1: Three Times a Hero is a fantastic, deeply satisfying read. I wouldn’t hesitate to read the next installments of the Shadowsforge series.

Do the sparks fly between Michell and Megan? How does Cody get through the experience of his mother embarrassing him?
Spinning Wildly is a creative short story. Elle Fredrick writes a story that is not like any other I have read. Megan reminds me of myself in more ways than one. The only complaint I have is that the story was too short. I believe there needs to be more of the characters and meetings between them.

Friends are the most important thing but would you do anything to keep the friendship going even lying about a murder.
Ann the oldest of the La Bella Luna friends is dying. All the money in the world cannot help her and though she has lived a long life she is more afraid of never seeing her friends than life. To her they are the most important people in life and they all share something in their lives that cannot be broken. Can she go on with her secret death without telling someone?
Ann and her friends have gone through so much in their lives all looking out for one another but they all have secrets. For instance, Merry has an abusive marriage and will do anything to get out of it. Something that Ann is afraid to happen one day. Eazy is after years of his death trying to find out why her fiancés went away on the day of their marriage away to a trip and died. Leta Lou is a person who is trying to find out what her life has come to mean so far. How would all these people cope with the death of Ann? Can they remain friends or will a murder separate them forever?
La Bella Luna started off okay in the beginning but I felt that it just dragged on. I mean I liked that you have this strong friendship but I wanted to know more about each person instead of always jumping from one paragraph to another. Each chapter started with something new never staying in one scene and when it did the paragraph just dragged on and on. I mean Ann was the leader of the friends but it was more of the others never showing us what her life really was like before the news of her death. Its okay but would have thought something better in this book by Bobbie Cole. Will keep an eye on this author though for she knows romance but this book was more just like contemporary without any romance in it.
